Radhika Sarath Kumar is trying something new. Or you can call it old too, for the actress-television content producer is venturing into theatre with the globally acclaimed drama- ‘The 39th Step’.

Daughter of legendary theatre personality M R Radha, Radhika has tied up with a Chennai-based popular drama company to stage the play, which is considered as an example of visual humour.

“It is a very interesting drama in which four actors play 150 roles. Also in the pipeline are plans to bring in many international stage plays. Hope we would succeed in this attempt”, Radhika says.

The wife of actor-politician Sarath Kumar, who is also the president of Nadigar Sangam, Radhika is happy that her daughter Varalaxmi too has ventured into acting. “Almost everyone in our family is related with films”, she says.
